Apple on Wednesday released iTunes 11.1.5. The update reporetedly addresses a problem that may cause iTunes to crash when a device is connected. It also claims to improve compatibility with iBooks for those running OS X Mavericks.
The update weighs in at 81.4 MB and is available now via the Mac App Store’s Software Update. Direct download links on Apple’s Support Page should be available shortly. Windows users can grab the update directly from Apple or via the Apple Software Update app.
iTunes 11 was a major redesign of Apple’s popular media player and management software. It was first released in November 2012. Today’s update to version 11.1.5 represents the tenth software update since its release. The last update, to version 11.1.4, came on January 22, 2014.
