Did you miss the chance to order a new iPhone 7 during the launch weekend? Have reviews now convinced you it’s time to pick one up? If so, you probably know that finding the iPhone 7 in stock will be difficult, especially finding the model with the exact color and capacity you want. Thankfully, the folks at iStockNow have an interactive map that can quickly show you where to find the iPhone 7 in stock.
Simply head over to the iStock Now website for a live map of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus availability. Use the filters at the top of the screen to choose your model, color, carrier, and capacity. The map will then show you at a glance if any stores in your area have stock.
Even better, if you can’t find the exact model you’re looking for, you can click on a store to see a chart of which configurations are in stock. This way, you can decide whether to compromise if a nearby store has something at least close to what you’re looking for.
The iStockNow interface is definitely helpful considering the short supply that is typical of Apple product launches, but it’s not perfect. It’s only available in certain countries — Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States — and only looks at Apple Retail stores.
As with any third party service, iStockNow also can’t guarantee that its inventory is completely accurate, so be sure to call the store to verify availability before you head over, especially if you’re planning a mini road trip to grab that perfect iPhone 7 model from two towns over.
Finding an Apple product close to launch is always going to be a bit tricky, and you’ll definitely want to check with Apple first, but using iStockNow’s map-based interface is an easy way to quickly visualize which iPhone 7 models are in stock near you, as well as see the trends in availability change over time.
