Google Promises to Keep Chrome for Windows XP Updated Until April 2015

Google on Wednesday announced that it would continue providing regular updates to the Windows XP version of its Chrome Web Browser until at least April 2015, a year after Microsoft officially ends support for the 12-year-old operating system.

Apple Hires Burberry’s Angela Ahrendts to Head Retail Operations

Apple announced late Monday that Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts will become the company’s next head of retail operations early next year. She will be the second person hired by the company to replace longtime retail chief Ron Johnson, following John Browett’s ouster in 2012.

A new report from Apple-focused analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple will revamp its Mac lineup next year to combat the declining PC industry. Reportedly on track for 2014 are a new 12-inch MacBook Air with a Retina Display and a cheaper “budget” iMac.
