Bungie’s Destiny Beta Will Land on PlayStation Before Xbox

Here’s some news to bolster the excitement of PlayStation fans: the beta for Bungie’s highly anticipated game Destiny will land on the PS3 and PS4 before the Xbox, according to Bungie COO Pete Parsons. The beta, set to launch in spring 2014, will include “a diverse sampling of major activities in the full game” and will be made available to gamers who pre-order the full title at participating retailers. Those who pre-order will receive a redemption code with instructions on how to sign up for beta access.

Destiny is an action RPG shooter set in futuristic open world sci-fi setting. It was first unveiled at E3 2013 and will launch on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in the second quarter of 2014.
