Apple Addresses Data Loss Issue with 2012 MacBook Air Flash Storage Update

Apple has discovered a serious issue affecting 2012 MacBook Air flash storage drives which could result in data loss. Owners of the mid-2012 Air are encouraged to run a firmware update to fix the issue, and Apple has promised free replacements for those with affected drives.
