Apple on Tuesday released iOS 7.1.1, a minor update to early March’s major 7.1 release. The update is available for all devices currently running iOS 7.1, plus second- and third-generation Apple TV devices running version 6.1 (which will be updated to 6.1.1).
We’re still waiting for official release notes and will update this article once they’re available. Early reports, however, indicate that iOS 7.1.1 address a number of bugs related to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, battery life issues, Touch ID reliability, and potential security vulnerabilities that allow a non-authorized user to perform a number of crucial tasks without the device’s Apple ID and password.
