As expected, Apple has released the final version of macOS Sierra. The company’s latest desktop operating system is available as a free download on the Mac App Store.
Major new features in Sierra include Siri support on the Mac for the first time, deeper integration with Apple Watch and iOS, automatic data management with Optimized Storage, and improvements to key apps like Photos and iWork.
macOS Sierra is compatible with the following Macs:
iMac: Late 2009 or newer MacBook: Late 2009 or newer MacBook Air: Late 2010 or newer MacBook Pro: Mid 2010 or newer Mac mini: Mid 2010 or newer Mac Pro: Mid 2010 or newer
