Alongside the launch of the new Mac Pro, Apple early Thursday released a major update to Final Cut Pro X, enabling the application to take advantage of the new hardware in Apple’s flagship desktop, as well as bringing new features such as 4K content, support for Thunderbolt 2, and new unified project and event libraries.
