Apple late Thursday released the GM build of its upcoming desktop operating system, OS X Mavericks. The GM arrives after eight preview builds over the course of four months and signals that the public release will arrive soon. Registered developers can grab the build now via the Apple Developer Center and Mac App Store.

Apple late Monday released the eighth Developer Preview of OS X Mavericks. The latest build of the upcoming operating system brings changes to Aperture, Migration Assistant, Preview, and iTunes.
