Apple Music Subscriber Numbers Underscore Lackluster Debut

Apple made waves this week by announcing that 11 million users have thus far signed up for its new Apple Music service. But considering the immense advantages that Apple Music has over its competitors, and the fact that we’re only halfway through the service’s introductory free trial, those 11 million users are not something to celebrate, and may even be a sign that things are going wrong for Eddy Cue, Tim Cook, and Apple.
