Twitter has nearly a billion accounts, but a surprisingly large number of them are silent. According to new data from tracking firm Twopcharts, 44 percent of all current Twitter accounts have never sent a single tweet.
Facebook Announces WhatsApp Acquisition in a $16 Billion Deal
Facebook announced a major deal late Wednesday, agreeing to purchase popular messaging service WhatsApp for $16 billion. Facebook will let its new division operate independently and maintain its own branding, as well as maintain its own Facebook Messenger for the foreseeable future.
