New features advertised by VMware include full support for OS X Yosemite, both as a guest and host operating system, support for Windows 8.1, “near-native” performance, increased hardware support for up to 16 virtual CPUs, 8TB virtual disks, and 64GB of memory, better battery life, and enhanced support for Retina displays.
