Ten Great iOS Apps for Toddlers

Sago Mini Sound Box

Apps for Toddlers - Sago Mini Sound Box

Platforms: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
Price: $2.99

A simple app at heart, Sago Mini Sound Box will quickly become an interactive favorite. Kids pick one of nine sound categories, such as piano, drums, dogs, farm animals, or chimes and are then dropped to a blank screen with colorful balls. Tapping on the screen introduces more balls, each of which produces a unique sound from the chosen category. Tilting the screen causes the balls to roll and crash into each other, creating custom soundscapes and melodies. With the ability to make music and sounds with a tap, tilt, flip, or shake, the app is perfect for kids of virtually all ages.

Wow, this is a cool list indeed. Fish School has got to be my favorite, mainly because I haven’t yet tried most of the other ones mentioned here. My toddler is very hard to please, but surprisingly I’ve found that he likes puzzles of all apps. One of the best actually is Woozzle ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/free-toddler-puzzle-woozzle/id514617947?mt=8 ). An added bonus is that it’s free and provided plenty of puzzles.
