At the most basic level, kids tap their fingers on the screen to pop bubbles. As the games get more advanced, kids are asked to identify colors and numbers, count, recognize and complete patterns, and even learn about balance and basic physics. Parents can also set up separate user profiles, enabling siblings of different ages to keep track of their progress individually.

    Wow, this is a cool list indeed. Fish School has got to be my favorite, mainly because I haven’t yet tried most of the other ones mentioned here. My toddler is very hard to please, but surprisingly I’ve found that he likes puzzles of all apps. One of the best actually is Woozzle ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/free-toddler-puzzle-woozzle/id514617947?mt=8 ). An added bonus is that it’s free and provided plenty of puzzles.
