Apple on Tuesday released iOS 7.1.1, a minor update that includes a number of bug and security fixes. It’s available now for direct download from Apple’s support site, and will be rolling out shortly to iOS 7.1 devices.

Apple on Wednesday released iTunes 11.1.5, a minor update to the company’s media player and management software. The update reportedly addresses a stability issue that could cause iTunes to crash when a device was connected, and also improves compatibility with iBooks for users running OS X Mavericks.

Microsoft has started rolling out the first major update to its latest productivity suite. Office 2013 Service Pack 1 is available now via Windows Update or direct download from Microsoft and includes improved support for Windows 8.1 and IE11, support for high-DPI displays, and numerous bug fixes and performance improvements.

Apple on Tuesday released OS X Mavericks 10.9.2. The free update brings several new features, including FaceTime audio support, as well as a number of bug fixes and improvements. Of note, the update does not appear to include a fix for the critical “Goto Fail” bug discovered last week.

Adobe on Tuesday issued a critical update to its Flash Player software to address a zero-day vulnerability that reportedly allowed hackers to completely take over a compromised system. All versions of Flash prior to the latest update are vulnerable, and Adobe urges all users to install the latest version as soon as possible.
