Chances are that you weren’t invited to San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for today’s big Apple event, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to follow the announcements live. In addition to the usual liveblogs, it looks like Apple will again offer a live video stream of the festivities. As reported by MacRumors, an “Apple Events” channel has once again appeared on the Apple TV menu for some users, the same as with past live Apple product keynotes. If the company follows precedent, it should also shortly update its “Apple Events” webpage with a link to today’s video stream.
Before we continue, we want to take a moment to thank our sponsor this week, LoopConf. Taking place May 6-8, 2015 at the Westin Lake Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, LoopConf is one event you don’t want to miss if you’re involved, or thinking about becoming involved, with developing for or supporting WordPress. Come attend more than 30 sessions lead by WordPress experts and participate in hands-on labs and training. Check out the details and get your tickets today.
Today’s event in San Francisco starts at 10:00 AM PDT (1:00 PM EDT) and is expected to cover new iPads, MacBook Pros, the Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks, and iWork Software. There’s also a chance that we’ll see some announcements related to the Apple TV. We’ll have a full wrap-up overview this afternoon.
